Uplink Web Services is an Australian-owned platform for businesses that take their digital presence seriously. We host the infrastructure, we ship the products, and we support every customer ourselves — so you can run your business and not your hosting.
What started as a personal hosting setup grew into something a small handful of customers depended on. Then that small handful asked for more — they wanted their full digital operation under one trusted operator: hosting, e-commerce, bespoke websites, the lot. So that's what we built.
Today the platform runs four products — web hosting, bespoke web development, Shopkit (managed e-commerce), and Clubkit (membership management, coming soon). All on the same infrastructure, all billed on one invoice, all supported by the same team. No outsourced support desk, no offshore tier-one, no scripts. If something breaks, the person who fixes it is the person who wrote it.
How we work
Four principles we won't compromise.
Australian-owned, Australian-supported
ABN-registered, AU-tax-compliant, support in AU business hours. Your data stays in country. No 'we use AWS Sydney' weasel words — we're the company, not the cloud provider.
Honest pricing
What you see is what you pay. No surprise transaction fees, no per-user upcharges, no 'pricing on request'. GST inclusive AUD across the board.
No lock-in
Our platform is open-source (AGPL). Every customer can request a complete tarball of their data, configuration, and a documented restore runbook. You can leave us and self-host within a day. We hope you don't, but we'd rather earn your stay than trap you.
The person who builds it is the person who supports it
No outsourced first-line, no scripted responses, no escalation lottery. If something breaks the founder hears about it and the founder fixes it.
